Carlos Lima
Antonio Carlos Mendes Lima, known as Caca Lima, was born in Rio de Janeiro on August 14, 1972. He was introduced to Jiu-Jitsu in 1989 and, inspired by Royce Gracie’s demonstration of Jiu-Jitsu as an efficient martial art in 1993, decided to pursue it professionally and as a lifestyle. Caca earned his black belt in 2001 but has been teaching Jiu-Jitsu since 1994, forming a legacy of over 200 black belts. He is a two-time Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu champion with more than 20 MMA fights to his name. Antonio has coached UFC and Bellator fighters, representing Chute Boxe, one of the world’s premier Martial Arts schools.
Today, at 51, Caca holds a 6th-degree black belt in Jiu-Jitsu and a black belt in Muay Thai.
